Curious about how to do network marketing? Or do you just want to know more about it? Then read my review to find out this book is something for you.
Hi there, my name is Richard and I have written a review of Russell Brunson's book "Network Marketing Secrets: The Hidden "Funnel" Strategy… That Easily Attracts The Right People, Who Are SO SUPER INTERESTED In What You're Selling, They Actually Raise Their Hands And Ask You To Sign Then Up!"
The first time I heard about network marketing was at work several years ago. One coworker was into it and the same was his brother. The brother made a lot of money from it and my coworker had the same dream. Because of bad times in the industry, we had to find new businesses to work for and I don’t know how it went with him. He was excited about this opportunity for a time and talked a lot about it.
I also remember when it was in the local newspaper about the bad times at our firm, a man showed up at our cantina and start telling about the same business opportunity. I thought my coworker and this man knew each other, but no. He has just read the newspaper and decided to try to recruit some people. A bit creepy if you ask me.
The next time was someone I was within the airforce called me. He had a surprise to me and wanted to meet me downtown in our city. Another friend that also was in the airforce received the same phone so I thought it was a reunion party or similar. I showed up first and bought a beer while I was waiting. I was very disappointed when he showed up and told me this was about. He and his mentor did a presentation of this system and all I needed to do is write down 100 people I know and do the same sales pitch to them. I could write down friends, previous teachers, former and present coworkers, neighbors and people I just knew the name to.
I was disappointed about this meeting and didn't want to do this to the people I knew and people I haven't talked to for years. I felt he fooled me and wasted my time. My thoughts about him were severely decreased after this meeting.
And this is the big problem with network marketing or MLM as its also named.
So how do we fix this?
Network marketing review - How to not be a jerk
In this book from Russell Brunson, the co-founder of ClickFunnels, goes through the offline methods and how the big guys did it in the past and were successful. Then Russell gives us the new alternatives that are online and by using funnels. He also goes through two of the main avatars of the mlm customer.
This book was fun to read and very interesting. I remember back when people tried to get me into this and I hated it. When I read the book and saw the new online method with funnels, I felt different about it. This is something I could do and is close to doing also with one of my funnels. The funnel is my Affiliate Business In a Box that is very similar to the bridge funnel and is based on promoting ClickFunnels. You can check it out here if you want.

Conclusion - I loved the book
This is a very good book for people that are into Network Marketing. After reading the book, you understand why you should go online and using funnels. Many of us have this bad experience from people that tries to lure you down to a cafe and be pitched. Most people hate it, but if you follow Russell Brunson's method, you will not burn down your bridges.
What I liked in this book was the way to present the offer. It was so easy so I plan to do something similar with youtube videos.
The ideas from the book can also be used to promote products as an affiliate where you are teaching people how to use the software and why they need it. This will work much better than a short review and some affiliate links.
